Humbaba (フンババ Funbaba) is a species of ape-men in The Tower of Druaga: The Recovery of Babylim that appear as enemies in the Lost Woods.
The Humbaba tribe lived peacefully in the forest until Druaga's power forced them to become ferocious. They were ordered to kill humans, and the tribe suddenly attacked the closest village, Ayn Ghazal, killing most habitants. While investigating, the player meets a Humbaba tribe member who still kept some reason and informs what happened with the tribe, regretting what happened with them and the village.
